Ingredients:

  • 200g of all-purpose flour
  • 100ml of warm water
  • 5g of active dry yeast
  • 10ml of olive oil
  • 1g of salt
  • 100g of tomato sauce
  • 150g of mozzarella cheese
  • 50g of sliced pepperoni
  • 30g of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 10g of fresh basil leaves
  • 1g of oregano

  • Pizza Cutter
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Oven

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 200g of all-purpose flour and 1g of salt.
  • In a separate bowl, dissolve 5g of active dry yeast in 100ml of warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  • Add the yeast mixture and 10ml of olive oil to the flour mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes while the oven preheats to 250°C (482°F) with a pizza stone inside.
  • Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface into a round shape.
  • Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza peel or a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread 100g of tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle 150g of mozzarella cheese generously on top of the sauce, then add 50g of sliced pepperoni.
  • Finish with a sprinkle of 30g of grated Parmesan cheese, 10g of fresh basil leaves, and 1g of oregano.
  • Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone in the oven and bake for 10 minutes until the crust is crispy and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven, slice with a pizza cutter, and serve hot.
