Ingredients:

  • 300g of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of mirin
  • 1 tablespoon of sake
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 200g of shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 200g of bell peppers, sliced
  • 200g of zucchini, sliced
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • mixing bowl

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  • Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin to the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  • While the beef marinates, prepare the vegetables by slicing the shiitake mushrooms, bell peppers, and zucchini.
  • Preheat the grill to high heat and lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  • Place the marinated beef on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until nicely charred and cooked to your preferred doneness.
  • Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • On the same grill, add the sliced vegetables and grill them for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender and have grill marks.
  • Serve the grilled beef and vegetables on a plate, garnished with finely chopped green onion and sesame seeds.
