- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of mirin
- 1 tablespoon of sake
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 200g of shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 200g of bell peppers, sliced
- 200g of zucchini, sliced
- sesame seeds for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- grill
- tongs
- cutting board
- knife
- mixing bowl
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin to the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- While the beef marinates, prepare the vegetables by slicing the shiitake mushrooms, bell peppers, and zucchini.
- Preheat the grill to high heat and lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Place the marinated beef on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until nicely charred and cooked to your preferred doneness.
- Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- On the same grill, add the sliced vegetables and grill them for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender and have grill marks.
- Serve the grilled beef and vegetables on a plate, garnished with finely chopped green onion and sesame seeds.
