Ingredients:

  • 300g of ground beef
  • 100g of aged cheddar cheese
  • 100g of bacon strips
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 brioche burger buns
  • 30g of BBQ sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • Lettuce leaves for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:

  • Start by heating the grill to high heat for the beef patties.
  • While the grill is heating, slice the onion thinly and heat the skillet over medium heat with olive oil.
  • Add the onions to the skillet, season with salt, and cook until soft and caramelized, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into two patties.
  • When the grill is ready, place the beef patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adding the cheddar cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
  • In the same skillet, add the bacon strips and cook until crispy.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the brioche bun, followed by the beef patty, caramelized onions, bacon strips, and drizzle with BBQ sauce before topping with the other half of the bun.
