Gourmet BBQ Burger with Caramelized Onions

Ingredients:
- 300g of ground beef
- 100g of aged cheddar cheese
- 100g of bacon strips
- 1 large onion
- 2 brioche burger buns
- 30g of BBQ sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- Lettuce leaves for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:
- Start by heating the grill to high heat for the beef patties.
- While the grill is heating, slice the onion thinly and heat the skillet over medium heat with olive oil.
- Add the onions to the skillet, season with salt, and cook until soft and caramelized, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into two patties.
- When the grill is ready, place the beef patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adding the cheddar cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
- In the same skillet, add the bacon strips and cook until crispy.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the brioche bun, followed by the beef patty, caramelized onions, bacon strips, and drizzle with BBQ sauce before topping with the other half of the bun.
